Handmade wedding, bridal jewelry by Yoola
A couple of months ago I received a surprising request,
"can you knit me a set of a bracelet and a matching belt for my wedding dress ? "
surprising , isn't it ?
I must admit , I thought to myself, is she serious ? this is going to cost her a fortune for me to knit her a belt...and for me to take days, I was obviously thinking on my own measures.... :)
When I had a second look at her request and noticed her size, I realized this may actually be feasible.
Did I mention I love custom orders ? they sometimes take me to places I would have never gone on my own, its like an adventure, its not that i take everyone crossing my path, but this one i did take and I'm happy i did.
One thing led to another and both the belt and the bracelet found their way to far away Australia (which apparently has superb post services, deliveries make it there with no time).
As the wedding plans went forward I was also happy to prepare gold bangle bracelets for the bridesmaids, and a set of a faux pendant necklace and matching faux pearl earrings for the bride.
What a fingerprint on a wedding of people I never met, and probably never will.
So you can imagine how thrilled I was to see the artistic wedding photos , i selected just a few so you can enjoy them too.

Wire crochet Bridal jewelry - onyx pendant necklaces set
Winter weddings are in the air and the brides started shopping... this glittery bridesmaids necklaces set is soon leaving for a winter weeding in New york.....
This set of 8 Bridesmaid necklaces is made of crochet wire gold filled and black onyx coins. I obviously make bridal jewelry in smaller sets as well... not every one has so many bridesmaids :)
but what an opportunity for a group photo, admit !
gold filled chain length : 19" - 48cm
charm length : 1.3"(3.5cm) the onyx coin size : 0.6" (1.5cm)
My crochet wire jewelry are created in a rare technique that combines crochet and knitting.
