SO according to all calenders the 25th is behind us and its time to reveal who is the lucky winner, the winner will be able to pick one of my CROCHET  WIRE  video tutorials.
The winner will choose between the YoolaCuff , the YoolaPixieBeads and the YoolaPotion charm these are the online video tutorials that I currently offer, coming really soon is also a video tutorial of the YoolaHoops.

In total we had 43 participats which is brilliant , I thoroughly read everyone's picks  from my WIRE JEWELRY shop, the picks were very versatile .

סדנה לסריגת תכשיטים - 8/2011 Israel Workshop

Excuse me my english readers , this post will be in Hebrew as it presents a workshop comming soon that will take place in Israel in Hebrew.... so I guess it wont interest you that much... on the other hand if you would like to invite me to run a workshop abroad contact me for details.

כשפונים לשאול אותי מתי אני פותחת סדנה נוספת לסריגת תכשיטים בשיטה שלי ואני אומרת כשארגיש שנוצר לחץ של מתעניינות.... אז הלחץ הזה הגיע וביום שישי ה19 לאוגוסט יתקיים השיעור הראשון

הסדנה הינה בת 3 מפגשים , יילמדו בה יסודות השיטה ויתורגלו מספר דגמים שפיתחתי.
הסדנה תיערך בסטודיו שלי ביהוד באווירה נעימה ומוארת, עם ליווי אישי ותירגול, המיקום נוח לגישה מכביש ירושלים תל אביב וכביש 6 .
סדנת הסריגה תתקיים בתאריכים 19.8  26.8 ו 2.9, ימי שישי בבוקר 10:00 עד 13:00.
מחיר הסדנה 750 ש"ח כולל מע"מ, ניתן לקבל במייל את פירוט תכנית המפגשים ותנאי הרשמה .

לימוד הטכניקה (שאין לה שם.....) יכול להיות מעניין עבור אמנים, צורפים ומעצבים שמחפשים להשתלם בטכניקה לא מוכרת שתפתח להם עולמות ויזואליים חדשים אבל גם לחובבים שמעוניינים להכין דגמים עבור עצמם ובעצמם/ן... אין צורך בידע מוקדם בסריגה.
התכשיטים והאובייקטים שאני מעצבת נמכרים ברחבי העולם דרך האינטרנט ובמספר חנויות מוזיאון וגלריות בארץ ובחו"ל.
בחנות האינרטנט שלי ניתן לרכוש מלבד אובייקטים גם הוראות באנגלית ללימוד עצמי למספר דגמים.

Inspired by the Harry potter film Dirigible Plum Radish earrings

My Luna Lovegood Dirigible Plum Radish earrings in red and green are fun and funky and a great way to celebrate the last film in the harry potter series, I know you may think I'm too old to be a fan but that's the truth.....

The errings were suggested to me by heather (a fellow etsian) as a challenge and turned out fun and popular !
My daughter is a big fan of Harry Potter so you can guess I was easily convinced to make her Dirigible Plum Radish earrings as Luna Lovegood wears in one of the early harry potter films.
This designs celebrates already a couple of years and received many wonderful feedbacks from people that bought them or gave them as present. you can see some here :

It is 1.2"(3cm) long with 0.6"(1.5cm) diameter made of copper wire in green and red using a crochet hook, it is hung on sterling silver ear wire.

Anna, ellipse geomtric wire crochet ring in rose gold

Anna is an Ellipse geomtric crochet ring in rose gold,
I would like to introduce you with a new ring design, high in the front and low in the back. I came up with it thanks to my cleopatra cuff, introduced not long ago.


I plan to one day put all my design in order, to analyze which intrigued which, im sure it will be inetersting
I hope it don't postpone it too much not sure what i still remember.

Every once in a while I wonder which is abetted strategy, to call my items in descriptive names which is a must for the SEO (search engines) to find me , or give them names that I can relate to, it can take it to a certain period or figure like my cleopatra line .

So for this one i comined both, i strted by clling it just an Ellipse Geometric crochet ring in rose gold, but then I felt something is missing, and I got an urge to call it Anna , I can't really explain why, which Anna, from which book i read lately ?
No idea..... But I hope it will give it good carma.

A nice story about more of my wire jewelry adventures

A couple of weeks ago I got a nice email from someone telling me he knows how much his mom likes my jewelry and that he would like to buy her my pod hoops with a matching necklace, he knew exactly what shades size etc. He told me it's for her 50'th birthday.

He also wrote me he was really busy and it would be the easiest for him to pick it up from the museum shop close to his house, where he knows my jewelry are on display.

Naturally I imagined a 20 something young man, so I wrote him back that if the specific items are not available there the easiest thing to do would be to buy it online and get them directly to his mail box.

At this point I got a very surprising email,..... He wrote me he is too young to have a credit card, that he was only 14 years old and his dad would phone to finalize the payment .
I was SO surprised ! I have  2 14 year old at home myself so it made me even more touched.

During the weekend I got a wonderfu update from him telling me the birthday took place last week and the present was a BIG SUCESS.
