This surprising wire crochet dreidel is a reminder of how incredibly inspiring I find my workshops.
Once more it proves that by giving and sharing you get back so much, and i will share with you a little story.
Last Friday I opened another beginners workshop , with yet another group with great ladies, one of them called Yoni (that by the way came wearing jewelry to die for , it turned out both she and her son are jewelers.... no wonder :), anyway, she told me that her husband collects dreidels , and that he has quite a few.
When the lesson ended and we were chatting, I suggested without much thought, why don't you make him one when you finish the workshop, you will have by then enough knowledge to develop such an item.
Then, a second later i told her, you know what, i know how to make one, im going home now and if it turns out nice i will send you a photo.
What happend was that even before lunch was ready , I already had my first dreidel done....
I didnt expect it to spin, so when my daughter made it spin i was even more astonished ... lol...
